5 Bedroom Cottage in Dover

Rock Path Cabin is located in Columbia Woodlands, a 400-acre retreat in Columbia, Ohio. Our cabins are high-end, luxury vacation cabins, featuring many fine furnishings and amenities.
Rock Path Cabin is a 5-bedroom rustic log cabin, featuring knotty pine paneling and cupboards, along with beautifully crafted log furniture for guests who can appreciate the rustic beauty of natural wood.
The Great Room consists of a spacious living room with gas fireplace, kitchen, and dining area; a great gathering place for meals and visiting. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave oven, along with basic dishware, silverware, and cookware. Also provided is a Coffee Maker, complete with coffees, teas, and hot chocolate.
The master bedroom features a plush king-sized bed with ensuite bathroom with glass shower. Two additional bedrooms feature plush queen-sized beds along with an additional bathroom. The basement features 2 more bedrooms with plush queen sized beds, an additional full bathroom, family room, and a wet bar. All linens and towels are provided, as well as deluxe bathrobes, provided for guests’ use.
There is a six-person hot tub on the screened-in back porch where friends and family can enjoy a private area with a view of the surrounding countryside. The back patio has a gas grill and picnic table that is just right for an outdoor barbecue. There is also a fire pit supplied with wood for roasting marshmallows under a moonlit starry sky.
Columbia Woodlands offers hiking trails, canoeing and fishing on Many Springs Lake, and wildlife viewing. (Fishing is catch-and-release). Our cabins are only a short distance from Ohio's Amish country.
Spa Service is available at Rock Path Cabin. Our guests can enjoy a Swedish Massage in the comfort and peace of Rock Path Cabin. (Must be booked 72 hrs. before arrival.)
Entertainment Center: Dish TV, Control-4, & WiFi.

Summary: The cabin was gorgeous. The property was so large it made us feel like we had privacy but still had access to all of the amenities Columbia Woodlands has to offer. Looking forward to going back!

Summary: This place provided the means for a perfect family get-away. We have 2 grown kids and a daughter-in-law, so needed 3 separate bedrooms...and not the kind for kids, like with bunk beds and twin beds. These were wonderfully comfortable big beds in their own rooms. This kind of 3BR place seemed hard to find. As much as we enjoy outdoor activities, we also enjoy comfort and luxury. This was the perfect blend for us. We enjoyed time in the cabin (not your typical cabin...this is a luxury cabin) and also, thanks to some beautiful weather, time outdoors. The grounds are lovely. The chalets were such a nice touch. I especially enjoyed being at the pond in the afternoon sun. I sat in the huge round raft and watched the girls paddle board, while husband fished. We did almost all the activities available here in our 2-night stay, and a third-night might have been nice too. You felt like your every need was being looked after here. That being said, the kitchenwares were not plentiful so you might want to check ahead on special needs...or it might be nice to have more details on the website. I was surprised there weren't more grill utensils - only a pair of tongs. The cookware set was of a really nice quality, but no medium size pots- only one small and several large. They do have hot dog/marshmallow sticks and lighters, so you don't need to worry about bringing those. And they have plenty of towels! And wine! And flashlights! The place is definitely a 5-star place! We loved our stay!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the "cabin". It's hard to call it a cabin because it was nicer than my home! With just a weekend to enjoy it, we took advantage of every minute, hot tubbing, hiking, sitting by the fire, fishing, golf carting, playing games and just enjoying nature. Thank you very much! I'd love to come back some day!
